Languages

We want to everyone in Scotland to be involved in our work, whatever language they use.

You can use any language (including Gaelic and British Sign Language) to:

  • write, email or send BSL videos to the Scottish Parliament or your MSPs
  • send in a petition
  • send your views to a committee

You can ask us to translate our information into the language you use.

Interpreters

You can ask for an interpreter if you:

  • are invited to come and speak to a committee meeting
  • want to engage with parliament business in your preferred language

Communicate with an MSP in BSL

Find out your options for communicating with an MSP in BSL.

Please give us as much notice as possible if you need an interpreter.
