Written questions must be answered within 10 working days (20 working days during recess)

To ask the Scottish Government, further to the answer to question S4W-14730 by Aileen Campbell on 21 May 2013, which applicants to the Third Sector Early Intervention Fund have neither received an award nor been selected as strategic partners.

In line with the approach the Scottish Government has taken with other funds, we do not intend to release details of organisations who were unsuccessful in their application to the Third Sector Early Intervention Fund and who are not in a Strategic Funding Partnership. Releasing this information could cause reputational damage which could discourage the organisations named, or other similar organisations, from applying for funding in future. This would constitute substantial prejudice to the effective conduct of public affairs.

To ask the Scottish Government, further to the answers to questions S4W-14177 to S4W-14184 by Aileen Campbell on 3 May 2013, whether it will publish the list of applicants to the Third Sector Early Intervention Fund (TSEIF), broken down by those (a) receiving funding under the TSEIF, (b) whose application was unsuccessful but who have been selected as strategic partners and (c) who are not receiving funding and have not been selected as strategic partners.

On 21 May 2013 I announced details of the Third Sector Strategic Funding Partnerships. These details have been published on the Scottish Government website and can be found at: http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Topics/People/Young-People/Early-Years-and-Family.

We have no plans to publish a list of organisations who were unsuccessful in their application to TSEIF and who are not in a strategic funding partnership.
