1. Decision on taking business in private:
The Committee agreed to take items 4 and 5 in private.
2. Subordinate legislation:
The Committee considered the following negative instrument— Act of Sederunt (Summary Applications, Statutory Applications and Appeals etc. Rules 1999 and Taxation of Judicial Expenses Rules 2019 Amendment (Telecommunications Infrastructure) 2023
3. Pre-Budget Scrutiny 2024-25:
The Committee took evidence as part of its Pre-Budget Scrutiny from—
Alexis Camble, Policy Manager and Mirren Kelly, Chief Officer, Local Government Finance, COSLA;
Allan Faulds, Senior Policy Officer, Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE);
Heather Williams, Training Lead, Scottish Women's Budget Group.
4. Pre-Budget Scrutiny 2024-25 (In Private):
The Committee considered the evidence it heard under agenda item 3.
5. United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (Incorporation) (Scotland) Bill (In Private):
The Committee received a briefing from the Scottish Government's Bill Team.
6. Asylum Seekers in Scotland (In Private):
The Committee considered and agreed a draft report which will be published the week commencing Monday 23 October.
