The Creative Craft Show and The Scottish Quilting Show are Returning to Glasgow

That the Parliament congratulates the Creative Craft Show and Scottish Quilting Show on returning to Glasgow in 2025; understands that the Scottish Quilting Show, which will be celebrating its 10th anniversary, offers a platform for Glasgow artists and those further afield to share their work; notes that Voices in Cloth, will also be displaying its work, highlighting quilting talent in South Africa and raising funds for sewing education for the underprivileged; understands that talented quilters can also enter the annual quilting competition; notes that, to mark the 10th anniversary, there are now eight different categories, including Professional Maker and Under 16s, plus an award for Best in Show, and understands that visitors attending the Scottish Quilting Show at the SEC will have access to The Creative Craft Show, featuring various crafts, demonstrations, and workshops, such as papercrafts, jewellery making, beading, knitting, stitching, and dressmaking.
