That the Parliament recognises the Scottish Government's reported commitment to boost the supply of affordable homes in the Midlothian North and Musselburgh constituency; understands that Midlothian Council will receive £471,000 and that East Lothian Council will receive £444,000; further understands that this funding boost will allow for the purchase of vacant properties to reduce temporary accommodation, and believes that housing is directly related to health outcomes, and that every family in the Midlothian North and Musselburgh constituency deserves to have affordable housing.
