Clydebank Sisters Win Children’s Showdance Duet at Dance World Cup

That the Parliament congratulates sisters Emily and Chloe MacDuff, from Clydebank, on being awarded first place for their Showdance duet, winning the title of Children’s Showdance Duet World Champions; understands that Emily and Chloe were selected as part of 19 dancers from the Hunter School of Dance to join Team Scotland at the Dance World Cup in Prague, Czechia; further understands that they then spent 10 days competing with their teammates against 10,000 dancers from 60 countries across the globe; notes that the sisters attended a gold medal winners' gala, where they were awarded another title for Most Outstanding Children’s Duet/Trio for the whole of the Dance World Cup; recognises what it sees as the extraordinary achievement of Emily and Chloe, and wishes them all the best for any future dance competitions that they attend.
