1. Declaration of interests

Paul Sweeney was invited to declare any relevant interests. He indicated that he had no interests to declare.

2. Decision on taking business in private:

The Committee decided to consider a draft report on the Scottish Government's Resource Spending Review, a draft report on our inquiry into the Scottish Government's International Work and consideration of our work programme in private at future meetings.

3. The Crisis in Ukraine:

The Committee took evidence from—

Graham O'Neill, Policy Manager, Scottish Refugee Council;

Andy Sirel, Legal Director & Partner, JustRight Scotland;

Marie Hayes, Scotland Director, British Red Cross;

and then from—

Neil Gray, Minister for Culture, Europe and International Development and Minister with special responsibility for Refugees from Ukraine, Alison Byrne, Director for Equality, Inclusion & Human Rights (Interim), and John Primrose, Deputy Director of International Relations, Scottish Government .
