Congratulating Coatbridge School Pupil, Lily Ferguson, on Her Professional Theatre Debut

That the Parliament congratulates 14-year-old Lily Ferguson, a pupil at St Andrew’s High School in Coatbridge, on her professional theatre debut as Wynonna in the stage adaptation of Wild Rose at Edinburgh’s Royal Lyceum Theatre; understands that Lily was selected for the role from hundreds of applicants, following auditions at the National Theatre of Scotland, and has received excellent reviews for her performances; recognises the support that Lily has received from her family, St Andrew’s High School, and the Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts in Glasgow, and wishes her every success in the remainder of the production and her future ambitions in the performing arts.
