McTaggart Construction Transforms Hampden Primary School

That the Parliament congratulates McTaggart Construction on its voluntary work to refurbish Hampden Primary School in Glasgow, which supports children with severe disabilities; commends the team of decorators and joiners from the company who gave up a week of their own time to repair walls and floors, remove partitions, paint classrooms and create a bright, safe and welcoming environment for pupils and staff; recognises the exceptional gratitude expressed by the headteacher, Virginia Smith, who praised the transformation of the space and the positive impact that it has had on pupils; acknowledges McTaggart Construction’s wider commitment to community enrichment and support for marginalised groups; understands that it is the first homebuilder in Scotland to sign the Buy Social Pledge and notes its role in this capacity, and believes that the company has demonstrated how the construction industry can make a meaningful difference in education and community wellbeing.
