That the Parliament recognises the generous efforts of the parishioners and community of St Bernadette’s in Motherwell, who recently raised £1,336 to support the work of the Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund (SCIAF); commends SCIAF for its continued commitment to alleviating poverty and promoting social justice in some of the world’s poorest communities, and thanks all those who contributed to the fundraising efforts, demonstrating the strength of local solidarity and compassion in supporting global development and humanitarian efforts.
