That the Parliament welcomes the news that four firefighters have raised more than £1,300 for a local lung health charity; understands that the four, who all serve Alloa Fire Station, ran the town’s half marathon on 16 March 2025 to generate funds for Breathe Easy Clackmannanshire; acknowledges that firefighters, Andrew Main, Kevin Key, David Smith and Aidan Douglas completed the annual event, collecting a final total of £1,314; understands that one of the four had a relative who passed away from pulmonary fibrosis; notes that trustees, members and volunteers of Breathe Easy Clackmannanshire were invited along to the fire house to receive the cheque, with a tour of the station before being handed the funds, which will go towards events tailored to support residents with lung and respiratory conditions, and commends Andrew, Kevin, David and Aidan as well as their colleagues at Alloa Fire Station and all at Breathe Easy Clackmannanshire for their sterling work in the community.
