Retirement of Derek Smeall, Principal of Glasgow Kelvin College

That the Parliament congratulates Derek Smeall, Principal of Glasgow Kelvin College, on his retirement after six years in the role; notes that Derek began his 19-year career in further education as a lecturer in engineering, progressing to curriculum manager, head of faculty and then senior management at Cumbernauld College and New College Lanarkshire, before taking up the role as Principal of Glasgow Kelvin College on 1 August 2019; recognises the contribution that Derek made to the college during his time in the role, and wishes him all the best for his retirement.
