That the Parliament warmly congratulates all the winners and finalists of the 2025 Scottish First Aid Awards, hosted by St Andrew’s First Aid (SAFA) on 28 March; acknowledges the incredible response to this year’s awards, with over 70 nominations across 10 categories and an attendance of more than 350 guests, each celebrating outstanding acts of first aid intervention, expertise and knowledge-sharing; expresses deep appreciation to SAFA for organising this event, which recognises extraordinary individuals who have stepped forward in times of need, whether by administering CPR, treating injuries or promoting lifesaving skills; celebrates the remarkable £23,250 raised on the night, which will support the charity’s ongoing efforts to enhance first aid provision across Scotland, and recognises the vital role that SAFA plays as Scotland’s only dedicated first aid charity, working to raise awareness, deliver high-quality training and provide emergency first aid at public events.
