That the Parliament congratulates the Inverness Lions under-14 girls basketball club, which, under the guidance of head coach, John Kerray, defeated Falkirk Fury to become 2025 Scottish Champions; notes that the Inverness Lions dominated the league winning 13 of its 14 matches; understands that the format of the competition meant that Inverness Lions still had to win one more match to be able to call themselves champions at the Caledonia Gladiators Arena in Glasgow; congratulates Jessica Gibson on being awarded Most Valuable Player after scoring 25 points; understands that winning the championship gained the team entry into the International Basketball Cup, which is taking place in Valencia on 17 April 2025; believes that the team will be competing against the best teams in Europe, and wishes it all the very best for the cup.
