Kirkwall Grammar School's S3 Netball Team's Victory Against Strathallan at the Final of Scottish School's Cup

That the Parliament congratulates Kirkwall Grammar School’s (KGS) S3 netball team on its 48-47 victory against Strathallan in the final of the Scottish School’s Cup, played at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow on 28 March 2025; acknowledges that the result was close and the girls fought incredibly hard against tough and skilled opponents; commends in particular, Rosa Leonard, on captaining the KGS team to success and Hollie Cromarty, who was awarded Player of the Match; recognises that Kirkwall Grammar School’s S3 netball team’s victory is the latest in long line of success enjoyed by KGS and Orkney’s young netballers over recent years; acknowledges the commitment, hard work and dedication of the players, coaches and parents; thanks the team for being excellent ambassadors for Orkney, and wishes them all the best for further success in the future.
