That the Parliament welcomes the pioneering research at Robert Gordon University (RGU) aimed at developing a blood test to accelerate the diagnosis of endometriosis; recognises what it sees as the significant impact that this could have in reducing the lengthy delays currently faced by those seeking diagnosis and treatment; commends the researchers for their commitment to improving women’s health and quality of life, and wishes the University well in its continued innovation in medical research to enhance early detection and treatment of endometriosis and other underdiagnosed conditions.
