That the Parliament congratulates Held In Our Hearts on being awarded £191,541 funding from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that this funding will help to support its Hospital To Home project, as the first of its kind in Scotland to offer an "opt-out" as opposed to "opt-in" support service for bereaved families, while still in hospital; appreciates that this funding will help Held In Our Hearts to continue bridging the gap between hospital care and community support, ensuring that families who need support have access to it without having to seek it themselves, during a very difficult time; commends the work of Held In Our Hearts, and all its staff, including its CEO Nicola Welsh, who set the charity up in 2009 after the loss of her own son and lack of support available, and wishes Held In Our Hearts every success as it continues to support bereaved families across the country.
