Recognising the Success of the Chryston High School Wind Band at the Scottish Concert Band Festival

That the Parliament congratulates Chryston High School’s Wind Band on winning a Gold Award at the Scottish Concert Band Festival Final 2025, which, it believes, is an outstanding achievement particularly as it was its first time competing at the event; recognises the dedication, talent, and hard work of the pupils and their music instructors in preparing for this prestigious competition; acknowledges what it sees as the vital role that music education plays in enriching the lives of young people, fostering creativity and teamwork; commends North Lanarkshire Council and Chryston High School for their continued support of music and the arts, and wishes the band continued success in future performances and competitions.
