Clydesdale Harriers Celebrate 140th Anniversary

That the Parliament celebrates the oldest athletics club in Scotland, the Clydesdale Harriers, on its 140th anniversary; understands that the athletics club, which was founded in 1885, first moved to Clydebank in the 1920s and provides athletes aged eight to 80 years old with coaching and support in track, field and road and hill racing; recognises the outstanding achievements of the Clydesdale Harriers over their many years of being established; congratulates the historic, community-focused, inclusive athletics club, and wishes the club many more years of being able to provide sporting opportunities and achievements that the people of Clydebank can be proud of.
