Staggs Pub Named Edinburgh and Lothians Pub of the Year

That the Parliament congratulates Musselburgh’s Staggs Pub, also known as The Volunteer Arms, on being named Pub of the Year 2025 in Edinburgh and Lothians by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA); understands that Staggs will now be judged alongside all the winners from the Scottish branches to find the Scottish Pub of the Year; notes that the historic pub on North High Street has won numerous CAMRA awards; further notes that it won the title of best pub in Scotland and Ireland for the third time in 2018, and Pub of the Year for the UK in 1998, and thanks the staff and customers for their loyalty in maintaining Staggs’ welcoming and community spirited atmosphere.
