Benarty Citizen of the Year Award

That the Parliament congratulates all the winners at the recent Benarty Citizen of the Year Awards; notes that Distinguished Service Awards were given to Ross Gavin and Santa's Elves for the outstanding work that they do for the Benarty community, Craig Cooper was awarded the Gordon Mackie Friend of Benarty Shield, and the volunteers at the pantry@brag were awarded the Group Citizens of the Year Shield; recognises that, at only seven years old, Rio Early was named Young Citizen of the Year for his actions in saving his mum's life; further recognises that the Ann McCallum Benarty Citizen of the Year award was won by Isabell McShane for her outstanding volunteering within the community, for many groups and over many years; agrees that all were worthy winners, and extends thanks to the organisers of the awards event.
