CamGlen Radio Celebrates 10 Years of FM Broadcasting

That the Parliament congratulates CamGlen Radio, which is based in Rutherglen, on its 10th anniversary of FM broadcasting; notes that CamGlen Radio is part of the Healthy n Happy Community Development Trust, which has an overarching aim to address inequality and improve wellbeing for Rutherglen and Cambuslang communities; understands that CamGlen Radio produces and broadcasts a wide range of music, interviews and specialist programming, spotlights and promotes local organisations and local up-and-coming artists, and provides opportunities and training to those interested in broadcasting; pays tribute to the station's many volunteers and contributors both past and present; notes that the station has recently been awarded an extension to its FM broadcast, allowing it to continue producing radio for the community, by the community, and wishes CamGlen Radio all the best for its continuing success.
