That the Parliament congratulates Mother Earth Hindu Temple in Newton Mearns for its efforts to celebrate British Science Week 2025 and engage young people with scientific issues; understands that, to mark British Science Week, Mother Earth Hindu Temple hosted a two-hour event on 12 March for S2-S6 pupils, and that it involved the young people working together in teams to deliver a presentation on a science topic; recognises that British Science Week took place from 7 to 16 March 2025 and that it is an annual event with the aim of encouraging participation in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), and understands that schools, community groups and organizations throughout Scotland and the UK are able to take part in each annual event through activities such as workshops, exhibits, experiments and presentations.
