P&J Live Achieves A Greener Arena Certification

  • Submitted by: Jackie Dunbar, Aberdeen Donside, Scottish National Party.
  • Date lodged: Monday, 24 March 2025
  • Motion reference: S6M-16881

That the Parliament congratulates everyone at P&J Live in Aberdeen Donside, which has achieved A Greener Arena (AGA) certification; understands that AGA is awarded by A Greener Future, which is a not-for-profit organisation that set the world’s first event sustainability standards and has since evolved to become a leading authority in sustainability and event management, raising the bar for a more sustainable event ecosystem; believes that P&J Live now joins a handful of other venues across the UK, such as the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, to achieve such certification; recognises that this certification marks the latest step in the venue’s mission to achieve net zero by 2050, and wishes it the best going forward.
