That the Parliament commends the charity, A Bear Named Buttony, based in Ballater, as it prepares to celebrate its 10th anniversary in May 2025; notes that the charity supports young children and young adults who have a stoma; further notes that, since it began in May 2015, it has donated over 6,950 bears, all dispatched from Ballater, to children throughout the UK, donated 1,850 of its young adult packs, published a story book, created a colouring book, and gifted stoma training models to all UK paediatric centres to help prepare children before their surgery; understands that, in celebration of its 10th anniversary, it will be publishing a second story book, as well as launching an educational pack for primary schools, which will be donated throughout Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, and wishes the charity every success in the future.
