Sacred Heart Early Learning Centre Wins Top Prize in Keep Scotland Beautiful Pocket Garden Design Competition 2025

That the Parliament congratulates Sacred Heart Early Learning Centre (ELC) on its successful entry in the Keep Scotland Beautiful Pocket Garden Design competition 2025; recognises that Sacred Heart ELC’s entry was titled BP/Ineos Oil Refinery; notes that nursery and school pupils within the age range of three to 18 were invited to design a miniature pocket-sized garden that included food for people, made a positive impact on wildlife and reused something; recognises that more than 130 entries were received from across 18 local authority areas in Scotland, all utilising imagination and creativity within Keep Scotland Beautiful’s theme for 2025, which was Our Heritage; understands that there were a total of 32 winning entries, which have now been invited to build and grow their garden at their local school before being displayed as part of an online garden showcase, which will be delivered in June 2025, with an open vote for the favourite design; congratulates Sacred Heart ELC on its successful design, and wishes it the best of luck with its project for the upcoming showcase in June 2025.
