Recognising the Retirement of Open University in Scotland Director, Susan Stewart

That the Parliament recognises the outstanding contribution of Susan Stewart, who will retire as director of the Open University (OU) in Scotland after nine years of dedicated service; understands that Susan confirmed her retirement in January 2025 and will be stepping down at the end of March; welcomes the appointment of Martin Boyle, and considers that he will continue the success of the OU and help it to thrive; wishes Martin every success in his new role; thanks Susan for her service, and wishes her all the best in her future endeavours.
