Campbeltown and District Juvenile Football Association Raises Nearly £2,500

That the Parliament welcomes the recent news that Campbeltown and District Juvenile Football Association (CDJFA) successfully raised £2,422; understands that over £1,700 of the sum was raised at a quiz night at Campbeltown Bowling Club, with a further £550 raised by quizmaster Helen Gilchrist and her Jolly Monday Show fundraising, and an additional £100 returned to the fund by the winners; recognises the contributions made by local businesses to support the catering, venue and raffle prizes; understands that Campbeltown and District Juvenile Football Association facilitates grassroots football in Campbeltown and surrounding communities for around 300 young people aged between three and 18, delivering over 30 hours of football each week, and wishes everyone involved with the CDJFA all the best for the future.
