That the Parliament congratulates Anne McDonald on being awarded a Pavers Community Champion Award; recognises that Anne was shortlisted for this award following her work at Meadowbank Car 4U, where she is both founder and chairman; notes that Meadowbank Car 4U is a charity that provides free transport for cancer patients attending hospital appointments; understands that Anne was one of 10 finalists from across the UK to be shortlisted for the Community Champion Award, which is sponsored by the footwear retailer, Pavers; notes that a special celebratory event was held in York on 8 March 2025, also International Women’s Day, where Anne was named a joint winner with the other nine women shortlisted, recognising the contributions that all 10 women have made within their respective communities; congratulates Anne on the recognition that she has received, and thanks her for her hard work and efforts to support those within the Polmont community going through cancer treatment.
