Congratulating Self-Harm Network Scotland

That the Parliament congratulates Self-Harm Network Scotland on providing 2,851 one-to-one assistance and peer-support sessions since 2021 to people affected by self-harm; understands that 89% of people receiving one-to-one support reported that they had stopped or reduced their self-harm and found other ways to cope; further understands that Self-Harm Network Scotland delivers free training to individuals and organisations and has trained 3,373 people to date; notes that Self-Harm Network Scotland is delivered by the mental health charity, Penumbra, and welcomes the £1.5 million of Scottish Government funding, which has been committed for the next two years.
