That the Parliament notes that 15 March 2025 marks the International Day to Combat Islamophobia, as designated by the UN; understands that this day highlights the ongoing challenge of Islamophobia in society and the need to tackle prejudice, discrimination and hate crimes against Muslim communities; acknowledges the significant contributions of Scotland’s Muslim communities in all areas of public life; condemns all forms of anti-Muslim hatred and bigotry, and supports efforts to promote understanding, tolerance and respect among all communities.
