That the Parliament welcomes the BeeWalk Annual Report 2025 from the Bumblebee Conservation Trust; recognises the Bumblebee Conservation Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to conserving bumblebees; shares the concern with the Trust that bumblebee numbers declined by 22.5% in 2024, meaning that last year was the worst year for bumblebee conservation since records began; considers the vital role that bumblebees have in pollinating crops and wildflowers, which it believes makes their decline a significant ecological concern, and recognises the calls from the Bumblebee Conservation Trust to expand conservation efforts, including placing a greater emphasis on habitat restoration and continued monitoring of bumblebees to help safeguard their future.
