That the Parliament acknowledges Young Carers Action Day 2025 and its theme, "Give Me a Break", which focuses on the importance of breaks for young carers; understands that a recent report by Carers Trust Scotland found that 52% of young carers surveyed "always" or "usually" felt stressed, and considers, therefore, that young carers often struggle with school and finding employment; agrees that schools and employers must support young carers better so that they can take respite from their caring responsibilities and have an equal opportunity to thrive in life, and understands that there is a meeting of the Cross Party Group on Carers on 12 March 2025, with a Members' Business debate on Young Carers Action Day 2025 being proposed in the same week.
