That the Parliament congratulates Jordan Reid on his recent EDGE Award for his business, SENGUARD; understand that his business is targeted at the most vulnerable digital demographic, over 65s, preventing online threats before they even reach the user's device; recognises that it offers user-friendly and effective cybersecurity solutions that are focused on scam surveillance, account security and privacy protection; notes that Scottish EDGE is a competition aimed at identifying and supporting Scotland’s up-and-coming, innovative, high-growth potential, entrepreneurial talent; further notes that EDGE supports young people and early-stage, pre-trading businesses, as well as attracting established businesses to its main competition, which grants awards that are 70% loan and 30% grant, and acknowledges that EDGE runs two competitions a year, awarding over £3 million to around 80 businesses across the length and breadth of Scotland, and has made 663 awards totalling over £28 million in grants and loans.
