Emily Reddington, from Ballingry, Fife, to Dance in New York Tartan Week

That the Parliament congratulates Emily Reddington, from Ballingry, in Fife, on successfully securing a position on the Squad 1 Fling Together Dance Team, to dance in New York during Tartan Week in April 2025; understands that Tartan Week is a global celebration of Scottish culture and heritage and features a parade, ceilidh dances and Gaelic workshops, and aims to showcase connections between North America and Scotland; notes that the team will perform at pop-up locations including Bryant Park, Ellis Island and the Tartan Day parade; acknowledges that Emily attends highland dance class three times each week, between Benarty Community Centre and the Sarah Hendry School of Dance Studio in Glenrothes; extends its very best wishes to Emily for a successful trip, and hopes that it is a most enjoyable experience.
