That the Parliament commends the Level 6 pastry chefs at Motherwell Campus on their successful Valentine’s Bake Sale; recognises their hard work and dedication in creating a variety of delicious baked goods to sell as part of their fundraising efforts; notes that the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Burnt Chef Project, which it understands is a vital initiative that raises awareness and promotes mental health and wellbeing within the hospitality industry; acknowledges the importance of supporting mental health in a sector that is known for its high-pressure environment, particularly as a ScotHot survey reveals that nearly 60% of hospitality staff have experienced mental health issues in the workplace; applauds the students, staff, and all those who contributed to this meaningful cause, and wishes the Level 6 pastry chefs continued success in their studies and future endeavours.
