That the Parliament congratulates Falkirk FC star, Scott Arfield, on an incredible return to "the Bairns", scoring with his first touch, just 45 seconds into the match, and going on to score a further two goals; understands that Arfield came through the Falkirk Youth Academy and made his senior debut in 2007, before going on to have a hugely successful career playing for Huddersfield, Burnley, Rangers, Charlotte FC in the US, and most recently Bolton Wanderers, and further understands that, throughout his career, Arfield wore the number 37 shirt in memory of his Falkirk teammate, Craig Gowans, who tragically died in 2005 at age 17, and that on his return to Falkirk, Arfield gained permission from Gowan’s family to wear the 37 shirt again, to ensure that Craig Gowan’s legacy will never be forgotten at the football club.
