Welcoming Over £30 Billion Investment in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire

That the Parliament welcomes the reported forecast from Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber of Commerce that Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire are set to benefit from over £30 billion of investment across key sectors, reinforcing what it sees as the region's position as a hub for innovation and economic growth; considers that this substantial investment will drive the transition to new and renewable energy, alongside advancements in sectors such as technology, life sciences and tourism; believes that this investment will deliver long-term prosperity, job creation and opportunities for local businesses; acknowledges what it sees as the vital role of the region in Scotland's energy future, and urges continued support to maximise any economic and social benefits for communities across the North East Scotland region.
