That the Parliament recognises and welcomes the work of the Corra Foundation to tackle racism, including antisemitism, in Scotland through its Racial Equity Grants; understands that Racial Equity Grants will provide funding to four organisations whose work responds to issues facing children, young people and schools, and supports the mental health of those experiencing and responding to racism; notes that four grants of £10,000 have been awarded to the Coalition for Racial Equality and Rights, Edinburgh Interfaith Association, Scottish Council of Jewish Communities and Urban Community Project; acknowledges the important work of the Corra Foundation, which was founded in 1985, with a history going back to 1810 as a grant making charity supporting individuals and communities experiencing disadvantage in Scotland and across the world; hopes for a world free of racism and prejudice, and believes that third sector organisations have an important role to play in creating a safer, fairer world.
