That the Parliament congratulates the Pianodrome amphitheatre in Edinburgh on being awarded multi-year funding from Creative Scotland; understands that Pianodrome creates playable community sculptures and free musical shows using disused pianos that would otherwise be destroyed or sent to landfill; notes that Pianodrome, which was founded in 2017, has completed shows in Edinburgh and beyond, with a sculpture trail and a Pianodrome amphitheatre installed in Leeds for the International Piano Competition 2024, saving over 600 pianos from landfill in the process; further notes that Pianodrome operates free weekly concerts, piano dismantling sessions and an adopt-a-piano scheme in Granton, in north Edinburgh; understands that funding from Creative Scotland will support Pianodrome to find a permanent venue for the Pianodrome amphitheatre in Edinburgh; believes that local arts and culture organisations should be supported, and wishes Pianodrome, and all those that received multi-year funding from Creative Scotland, well.
