That the Parliament congratulates the Stroke Association on its award of £149,875 from the Improving Lives programme of the National Lottery Awards; understands that this group will use funding to improve its network of hospital information hubs across Scotland, which raise awareness of stroke and create connections between the service and survivors and their families; notes that the aim of this project is to reduce isolation and loneliness associated with surviving a stroke and the often-lifelong health, care and social challenges that stroke survivor's experience; commends the Stroke Association on its efforts to improve patient outcomes for people who have survived stroke, and wishes it all the best in the future.
