That Parliament congratulates the Weekday Wow Factor, which was founded in February 2017 by a fully-qualified occupational therapist with over 18 years service within the NHS; recognises that Weekday Wow Factor believes that everyone over the age of 50 should have access to fun, healthy, exciting, and good quality leisure activities to stay active and connected; notes that Weekday Wow Factor hold a Disco with lunch from 11.30 pm to 13.30 pm at Victoria Park Bowling Club every Wednesday; further notes that every Thursday, it organises a Mini Bus Adventure, which leaves at around 10 am, returning at 4.00 pm; understands that the services offered by Weekday Wow Factor, seek to enhance physical and mental wellbeing; further understands that Weekday Wow Factor currently offer its services at centres in Clydebank, Whiteinch and the Gorbals with more locations coming soon to new areas around Scotland; notes that its online events are Tia Chi, daytime disco and a monthly session with a magician; further notes that the WOWERS also provide a monthly drop-in service at the University of Glasgow, advising people of their services within the local areas; notes that donations and volunteers are always welcome, and warmly congratulates all the volunteers at Weekday Wow Factor for all their hard work and determination to have reached its eighth anniversary, and here’s to many more.
