That the Parliament congratulates Eden Court on being awarded £760,000 in 2025-26, rising to £893,000 for 2026-27 and 2027-28, through Creative Scotland’s multi-year funding programme; recognises what it sees as the vital role that Eden Court plays in expanding access to the arts, supporting artists and delivering world-class cultural experiences across the Highlands; understands that this increased funding will enable Eden Court to nurture creative talent, champion inclusivity and provide a rich programme of live performances, film screenings and cultural activities, which reflect the diversity and spirit of the region; recognises the organisation’s commitment to supporting artists at all stages of their careers, including by commissioning new work that highlights Highland stories; commends Creative Scotland and the Scottish Government for what it sees as their continued investment in the cultural sector, and believes that this ensures that creativity and culture continue to thrive in Inverness and other communities across the Highlands.
