That the Parliament welcomes the announcement of the new Bon Accord distillery in Aberdeen; believes that this is a significant addition to the city’s food and drinks industry; notes that the distillery is being developed on the historic site of the former Bon Accord soft drinks factory in Torry; considers that this will bring new life to the location; recognises what it sees as the economic and cultural benefits of this investment, including job creation, tourism opportunities and the promotion of Scotland's whisky heritage, and believes that the distillery will play a role in strengthening Aberdeen's reputation as a destination for high-quality food and drink experiences.
