That the Parliament congratulates National Farmers Union Scotland (NFUS) member and farmer, Euan Warnock, on being presented with the coveted Argyll and the Islands Stalwart Award for 2025; understands that the Stalwart Award was established in 2016 in recognition and memory of the late Bert Leitch and Lachlan MacLean, for their work in representing farmers and crofters regionally and nationally for many years before passing away in 2015; notes that Euan was also recognised for his 30 years of service working for both NFUS and NFU Mutual; believes that Euan was pivotal in the establishment of the Argyll Agricultural Forum and the Royal Highland Educational Trust in Argyll, and that he has been a strong champion for local farmers by bringing various important issues to the attention of MSPs, Scottish Government ministers, CalMac Ferries and others over the years, and wishes Euan well for the future.
