That the Parliament congratulates Stuart Linklater on the news that he has become the longest-serving Loganair employee, having marked his 35-year anniversary of working with the airline in 2025; understands that Stuart now works as the training captain based in Kirkwall, but originally began working for the company as a first officer; acknowledges that Stuart dedicated more than 25 years of his life to flying islanders and visitors alike to and from the Orkney Islands as a Loganair pilot; considers this to be a truly remarkable achievement in providing a lifeline service to members of the community, providing access to vital services, including healthcare, by facilitating inter island travel as well as journeys to and from mainland Scotland, in addition to allowing visitors an opportunity to enjoy all that Orkney has to offer; commends Stuart for the work that he now does to train and equip those at the beginning of their piloting careers with the skills and knowledge that they need, and pays tribute to his tireless and continued service in keeping the Orkney community safe in the skies over the years.
