Congratulating James Dunbar, Big Issue Changemaker for Housing and Homelessness 2025

That the Parliament congratulates James Dunbar, chief executive of New Start Highland, on being honoured as a Big Issue Changemaker for Housing and Homelessness 2025; notes that the list celebrates leaders from across the UK who champion innovative and transformative solutions to critical social challenges; understands that James is widely recognised across the Highlands for what it sees as his unwavering commitment to alleviating poverty and homelessness in the region; notes that James has led New Start Highland for 25 years, consistently championing a holistic set of support services to help people achieve lasting physical and emotional change; understands that New Start Highland supports more than 1,500 people every year and has given away over 30,000 items of furniture and starter packs since its establishment, and wishes James and the wider team all the very best for the future.
