That the Parliament congratulates the City of Glasgow on hosting the first ever Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland awards ceremony to take place in Scotland; understands that the restaurant selection will be unveiled on 10 February 2025 at Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum; believes that the prestigious event will not only showcase Glasgow, and Scotland, to the culinary world, as an outstanding location for produce, but will also enhance Scotland's ambition to be a globally renowned food tourism destination; acknowledges that the event will not only see the announcement of the renowned Michelin Stars, but also of the Green Stars, which recognise pioneers in the field of sustainable gastronomy; understands that a range of special awards, celebrating exceptional industry professionals, will also be presented on the night, and believes that hosting an event of this scale will only raise the profile of Glasgow’s incredible food and drink scene.
