That the Parliament congratulates North Edinburgh Arts on receiving £1.7 million from the Community Ownership Fund towards the completion of its community hub; understands that North Edinburgh Arts, based in Muirhouse, North Edinburgh, is a purpose built space for North Edinburgh Residents to relax, learn and take part in creative pursuits; further understands that the funding will go towards the construction and fitting out of the refurbished and expanded Macmillan Hub, which will house a 96 seat theatre, café, music room, studios, workshops, offices, and a half acre community garden; hopes that more projects like Macmillan Hub and North Edinburgh Arts can be supported to ensure communities across Scotland have local access to arts, creativity, and culture; looks forward to the opening of Macmillan Hub, and wishes all those at North Edinburgh Arts well.
