That the Parliament recognises 21 to 28 January 2025 as Cervical Cancer Prevention Week; commends the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) immunisation programme, started in Scotland in 2008 for 12- to 13-year-olds, which has shown that no cervical cancer cases have been detected in fully vaccinated women as of 2024, and acknowledges those who are working hard to eliminate cervical cancer and those who are supporting cervical cancer patients.
